JR Custom is a metal fabricator in Wichita, Kansas, specializing in manufacturing turn-key, custom products, including Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and production support equipment for large Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) companies and a variety of industries. We have the ability to engineer and fabricate new products or modify existing designs to specific requirements.
With many years of experience in the metal fabrication business, Jesus Raul Martinez, Sr., started JR Custom Metal Products in his garage in 1974. The one-man metal fabricator shop has grown in the years since to become one of Wichita’s leading family-owned companies with closely-held values. We are proud to also be a woman-owned, Hispanic-owned Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB).

Jesus Raul Martinez, Sr., started JR Custom Metal Products in his garage in 1974. His equipment consisted of one welder, one press brake and his hand tools.
JR Custom Metal Products opened its first facility, which was about 7,000 square feet.
